Blogger is owned by Google, and Blogger’s Blog’s main advantage is you can edit the template which is in .xml format. The Google Analytics and Webmaster tools provides an tracking and verification code respectively which you have to add on the template. So the process made easy now!

Google Webmaster Tools for Blogger:

Setting up Google Webmaster tools for Blogger will not takes time as the time of your PC to starts!

  • First go to Google Webmasters Tools
  • Sign up for it if you didn’t used it yet.
  • Now sign in to Webmaster Tools.
  • Click on Add a Site on the right corner of that page.
  • Enter your Blogger Blog’s URL and click on Continue.
  • It will show some list of verification process.
  • Click on Alternate methods Tab.Google Webmasters Tools- Alternate Methods to verify a site
  • Click on HTML Tag method and copy the code.
  • Now go to Blogger and Go to your Bog.
  • Go to Template tab and click on Edit HTML.
  • Press Ctrl+F and Search for this: <head>
  • Paste your HTML code below <head> tag.
  • Now save your Template.
  • Go to Webmaster Tools Verification page and Click on Verify.
  • Now your Blog is verified.

To go get your Blogger Blog Indexed in Google:

To index your Blog’s pages by Google you have to submit your Blog’s sitemap to Google.

  • Go to your Webmaster Tools dashboard.
  • Go to Optimization tab and click on Sitemaps.
  • Click on Add/Test Sitemap and enter like this:  atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
  • Wait for some days for your Blog to be indexed!

Google Analytics for Blogger:

Setting up Google Analytics for Blogger is too like Google Webmaster Tools setup.

  • Go to Google Analytics
  • Create an account if you haven’t one.
  • Sign in through your Google Accounts.
  • Go to your “Admin” Tab.
  • Click on “+ New Account”
  • Click on Website and Enter your Website Name, URL, Category,Time Zone and Account name.
  • Click on Get Tracking ID” .
  • Accept to terms and Conditions.
  • And it will show you a tracking code. Copy it.
  • Go to Blogger and go to your Blog.
  • Go to Template tab and click on Edit HTML.
  • Press Ctrl+F and Search for this: </head>
  • paste your Tracking code above </head>
  • Now save your Template.
  • Successfully you have get your Google Analtyics for Blogger.

Now got the real time statistics and Web Analytics.

There some little bit of process to set up Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools For your WordPress Account.

Google Webmaster Tools for WordPress:

Follow the below steps

  • First go to Google Webmasters Tools
  • Sign up for it if you didn’t used it yet.
  • Now sign in to Webmaster Tools.
  • Click on Add a Site on the right corner of that page.
  • Enter your Blogger Blog’s URL and click on Continue.
  • It will show some list of verification process.
  • Download that file and upload it into your WordPress host Root directory.

To go get your Blogger Blog Indexed in Google:

Follow the below steps to get your WordPress Blog indexed.

  • Go to your Webmaster Tools dashboard.
  • Go to Optimization tab and click on Sitemaps.
  • Click on Add/Test Sitemap and enter like this:  atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
  • Wait for some days for your Blog to be indexed!

Google Analytics  for WordPress:

Setting up Google Analytics is easy too for WordPress.

  • Go to Google Analytics
  • Create an account if you haven’t one.
  • Sign in through your Google Accounts.
  • Go to your “Admin” Tab.
  • Click on “+ New Account”
  • Click on Website and Enter your Website Name, URL, Category,Time Zone and Account name.
  • Click on Get Tracking ID” .
  • Accept to terms and Conditions.
  • And it will show you a tracking code. Copy it.
  • Now come to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Go to appearance ta and click on Editor.
  • Now Search for footer.php file and click on edit.
  • Now press Ctrl+ and find: </body>
  • Paste your Tracking code above the </body>
  • Click on update file and your template now saved.

You can use some other plugins for this process.

Now you have successfully verified your WordPress blog for both Google Analytics and Webmasters tools.
